ENVIRONMENT
Extreme Temperature
Both low and high temperature environments pose unique challenges for your robot. Low temperatures increase the viscosity of lubricants, slowing robot operation or leading to individual joint errors. For these types of environments, we’ll employ self-contained, automatic heating units to keep the Robosuit’s internal temperature at or above the OEM-specified minimum temperatures.
High-temperature environments vary based on application. We offer several options to cool our suits, including:
- High-flow ventilation packages
- Spot cooling
- Full-suit environmental control units (ECUs), and
- Aprons and blast panels (used to shield from radiant heat sources)
